HTC Wildfire Landing on Unknown Carriers
The budet-friendly HTC Wildfire is reportedly headed towards U.S. waters before 2010 ends. There was no word on the actual carriers that will be carrying it although all leads point to possible retailers like MetroPCS, Cricket, US cellular and maybe even Cellular South.
There was no word on pricing as well although it may be somewhere in the vicinity of $300 (without a contract). Specs of the HTC Wildfire include:
- Android 2.1 (with a Froyo update due later this year)
- 3.2-inch QVGA 320 x 320 pixel multi-touch capacitive display
- Wi-Fi
- GPS
- Bluetooth
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash
- microSD card expansion
