HTC Reports a 66% Revenue Growth
After learning yesterday that the HTC EVO 4G has made a great impact towards the fortunes of HTC, HTC now reports a 66% revenue growth which was part of their financial results bared for the second quarter. The firm reported total revenues of $60.53 billion TWD ($1.8 billion), a 66.68 percent growth year over year.
This is actually to be expected and only bare the actual figures that many of you may have been wondering about. The company says that, due to demand for its phones, it plans to increase the production rate at its Shanghai, China production plant to a 1 million monthly run rate during the third quarter of 2010.
