HTC is Now 8th Largest Phone Maker in the World
Though it is now the 8th largest phone maker in the world, you will agree that HTC could only do better. In fact, that should be a modest accomplishment for now with all the HTC handsets they have been releasing thus far.
Credit also goes to Android for placing HTC among the 10 top phone makers to date. The company used to just make phones for other manufacturers but it started to rise with Windows Mobile devices like the Touch Pro. It slowly started to stand out from the pack and it has even made a stronger effort to market itself with a series of effective ads.
These was the feedback taken from the Gartner report. HTC is now the eight-largest phone maker in the world, an increase of 139.1% in shipments from the same period last quarter.
