Vodafone HTC Desire owners listen up! It looks like you can now get the much awaited Android 2.2 FroYo update. The said update is free and now rolling out which is a couple of days late considering it was originally set to come out 7 to 10 days from August 10. Well better late than never right?

Android 2.2 promises to speed up applications and also web browsing thanks to a brand new “virtual machine”. Apps should now run 2 to 5 times faster than with Android 2.1, and the web browser’s Javascript support is now 2 to 3 times faster as wellThe much anticipated Flash 10.1 (and Air) support for Android 2.2 was also announced
