HTC Denies Having Antenna Problems like iPhone 4

Call it as you may want to, but HTC claims that they have been receiving lesser complaints for their handset/s compared to that of the iPhone 4. While Apple CEO Steve Jobs is busy trying to explain the antenna issue to the public, he did stress that other handset manufacturers like HTC do have reception problems.
But as you may have heard, the other companies have vehemently denied this claim, saying that they do not have signal problems as Jobs has claimed.
“Samsung mobile phones employ an internal antenna design technology that optimizes reception quality for any type of hand-grip use,” HTC said in an e-mailed statement today. “It is well understood by the industry that if enough of a phone and its antenna is covered, the radio frequency signal will be reduced to some extent,” added HTC.
So it seems that Jobs is simply trying to weasel his way out of the whole antenna issue of the iPhone 4 eh? Nice try but it seems Apple’s competitors are not going to help them out on this one.
