Sprint WiMax 4G Coming to HTC EVO 4G Users Soon?
It looks like Sprint is cooking up something with surges appearing for HTC EVO 4G owners over at New York City. This and strong regular 4G signals for the past days seem to indicate that WiMax 4G for Spring subscribers may soon be launched in New York City.
If you are in NYC, just see for yourself. Power up your HTC EVO 4G and you may be surprised to find the 4G logo light up. The test was made with an HTC EVO 4G running on the Android 2.2 or FroYo. Of course these may be test runs but then again, it never hurts to wish that 4G is imminent in your area right?
As of now, other users are seeing weak and unreliable signals. Others claim they are seeing strong signals every single day in their areas. Well we will just have to wait and see.
