Sprint Expands 4G Coverage in the U.S.

by brian on Monday, July 12th, 2010

While I don’t know if this new development from Sprint would garner any oohs and ahhs, Sprint has announced that they have expanded 4G coverage in the U.S., providing carriers for other regions better coverage. This includes areas like Rochester (N.Y.), Syracuse (N.Y.), Merced (California), Visalia (California), Eugene (Oregon), Tri-Cities (Washington) and Yakima (Washington).

Now before Sprint takes a bow, the issue remains; are there HTC EVO 4G handsets available? It is obvious that the shortage in HTC EVO 4G handsets have caused some disappointment to mobile phone subscribers aching to use 4G and this is because of shortage on screen parts.

Of course this is expected to be resolved soon. However, the fact remains, when will this be? Will it be too late? HTC and Sprint better act fast if they want to keep their customers happy!
