HTC EVO 4G Gets Android 2.2 FroYo Root

Thanks to the help of some XDA devs, the long overdue root method for the HTC EVO 4G is finally out. Although the root method is not an easy one, it does enable access to root applications. However, you can expect another root version to come out soon, something with perhaps and easier means.

Mind you, if you are not to techie or versed on how to apply the said root, it is best you wait for the easier version. Besides, you will have to download the Android SDK, HTC Sync and three other files to get your HTC EVO 4G rooted with the new Android 2.2 Froyo.
