HTC EVO 4G FroYo Update Goes Open Source
The HTC EVO 4G is already using the updated Android 2.2 FroYo update but HTC has added more options, especially for the developers, to come up with new enhancements of their own. This is after reports that HTC has released the 2.6.32 source codes of the latest Android 2.2 update.
This new update is also compatible with the Droid Incredible although the said smartphone has yet to get its official Android 2.2 update.
Now, Android devs can de-construct and have some fun and build back up into ROM capable of over-clocking, under-volting, and other special coding. The open source code can be downloaded here.
