HTCSense.com is an HTC site to serve as a web-based service for the latest Android smartphones and it looks like another device is set to be unveiled. The HTC Desire Z and Desire HD are already known to be on the roster but it looks like the HTC Mecha will soon follow.

The HTC Mecha seems similar to the HTC Hero. The image seems to be an older one meaning that a newer picture may make it better soon. But this may happen by next year and the HTC Mecha may not necessarily come out in time for the Holidays.

With only the daring who would go to the point of opening up a handset, some geeks were able to discover a hidden card reader inside an HTC HD7. The guys actually wanted to see if the said phone is similar to the Samsung Focus and apparently, they found a Class 2 8GB microSD card used as the device’s internal storage.

They tried to swap the Class 2 card for a Class 6 8GB microSD which incidentally made no difference. Besides, the HTC HD 7 returned messages meaning you can forget about enlarging the internal storage.

Anyway, there is always a spare 16GB or 32GB you can turn to. At least you still have other options when it comes to providing additional storage.

It looks like the HTC Aria is set to get an Android 2.2 update soon after leaks came out. In fact, the said FroYo update is already available.

The leak originally came out earlier this week and was packaged in a flashable ROM for the HTC Aria. While leaks normally point to an unfinished build, it seems that this one is an official update and based on feedback, it has been rendered effective.

However, the official update is said to be still underway. Hence, if you want to try out this unofficial build, go ahead. But as always, make sure you are ready for anything by backing up your data and files first before applying the build. Remember, the build is technically unofficial!

Sprint’s first CDMA handset seems to have landed at the FCC with the HTC 7 Pro. The handset reportedly got a big thumbs up which combines CDMA connectivity and the Windows phone OS.

Among the features of the HTC 7 Pro include a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.6-inch touchscreen display with 480 X 800 resolution, a 5MP camera with HD-quality 720p video and 8 GB of internal storage. It also boasts of a sliding QWERTY keyboard and was listed as a production model with the FCC.

Microsoft confirmed last month that it will not release its CDMA-based Windows Phone handsets until 2011 so it is surprising to see a production model landing at the FCC so early.
