I have had the Evo for about 5 months now, and I will never go back to my iPhone. I love the big screen and the 4G speeds and the Android OS is so much better. I love to watch live and recorded TV on my phone using my Sling adapter from DISH Network, especially since it runs on the 4G network. I actually work at DISH and the Sling adapter allows me to stream TV to my phone wherever I have WiFi or just 3G coverage. So you can image how much better the experience is with Sprint’s 4G, my Evo is now the perfect mobile device.

Mine does not work. I get a message saying:

Main Version is older!
Update Fail!
Do you want to reboot device?
Yes
No

I pressed yes and it just starts my phone over. I’m trying to get free wifi. How do I correct/fix this?

Battery tips don’t seem to work, my evo drained in 3 hours with following all the suggestions. With fair usage in the morning my evo is lasting 7-9 hours before I get an indicator pop up that I need to charge.

I dripped my 2 week old evo 2 feet from the ground first time, glass completely shattered! I used to drop my touch pro 2 all the time, really badly sometimes, never had the screen break on that.

I am thinking of switching from a Blackberry to the HTC Evo – does anyone know if the Evo has the Memo Pad function? I use that a lot on my BB and I also want to transfer the memos I already have to the Evo if possible (though Outlook, possibly??) Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

I have a HTC EVO 4G with sprint, and am thrilled with the phone. Through an article I was able to improve the reconnection time to the 4G network, and accessed the ##3282# menu via my MSL code. I was wondering if I can purchae a manual that has a list of the access codes to the various menus, and what the options and choices in those menus mean. I am not planning on ‘bricking’ my phone, but have a curiosity as to all the menus/options and what all of it means.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
The repair part of your site is wonderful, and will be back often to learn as much as I can about repair.

I notice that with a lot of apps running, charging can be very slow. I also found that if you charge with the phone powered down, it charges much faster.
